About the Author

Virendra Deo Sinha is currently Senior Professor and Head, Department of Neurosurgery, SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He completed his MCh from SMS Medical College and fellowship from Ernst Mortiz-Arndt University, Department of Neurosurgery, Greifswald, Germany, with hands-on experience on various techniques of neuroendoscopy. Later, he obtained training in vascular surgery at Fujita University, Japan. He is ex-President Neurotrauma Society of India and member of many international and national neurological societies, including being active member of neurotrauma committee and neurorehabilitation and reconstruction surgery committee of WFNS.

He is a regular faculty at foundational and instructional courses of Neurological Society of India. He has many publications, orations and guest speaker status at many national and international meetings. His special interests are neuroendoscopy, vascular neurosurgery and neurotrauma.

Jitin Bajaj completed his MCh in neurosurgery from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, in 2015. Thereafter, he completed one year long training in neuroendoscopy under Prof YR Yadav. Presently, he is working as a fellow in epilepsy and functional neurosurgery, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He has a number of publications to his credit. His special interests are endoscopic neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery and functional neurosurgery.

Trilochan Srivastava is currently Professor, Department of Neurology, SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He completed his DM in neurology from Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Chandigarh, and was on the faculty of AIIMS, New Delhi, 2001–2005. He completed his fellowship in cerebrovascular intervention from Beijing, China. He has 62 publications to his credit out of which 37 are in international journals. He is one of the founders and an executive committee member of Society of Neurovascular Interventions (SNVI). His areas of interest are neurovascular intervention, stroke and clinical neurology.
