The book also covers contact dermatitis in detail with a special chapter on regional differential diagnosis of contact dermatitis. Kabir Sardana MD, DNB, MNAMS is currently Professor, Department of Dermatology, Dr RML Hospital and PGIMER, New Delhi. He was previously a Professor at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi, from 2006–2016. He is an alumnus of MAMC (1991–96) and completed his MD from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, in 2000. He is a DNB holder and a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. He has been Secretary and Vice President, IADVL, Delhi branch, and Secretary, Society of Pediatric Dermatology, Delhi. He is the author of more than 130 peer-reviewed scientific publications cited on Pubmed, and author/editor of a number of books, listed on Google books and Amazon, some of which are Diagnosis and Management of Skin Diseases: An Evidence-Based Approach, Comprehensive Textbook of Dermatology, Lasers in Dermatological Practice, Clinical Approach to Pigmentary Disorders, Clinical Approach to Acne Vulgaris, Clinical Approach to Fungal Infections, Fungal Infections: Diagnosis and Treatment, Hair loss: Disorders, Restoration and Management and Systemic Drugs in Dermatology. His clinical research interests focus on acne vulgaris, dermatophytes, psoriasis, alopecia areata, pigmentary disorders, lasers in dermatological practice, hyperandrogenism and pediatric dermatology.
Ananta Khurana MD, DNB, MNAMS is currently Associate Professor, Department of Dermatology, Dr RML Hospital and PGIMER, New Delhi. She did her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, in 2007, MD from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, in 2010, and DNB (Dermatology) in 2011. Earlier, she was Assistant Professor, Department of Pediatric Dermatology, Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, Delhi. She is an assistant editor with Indian Journal of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS and has to her credit publications in national and international journals and chapters in various books. She has presented papers at the annual conferences of American Academy of Dermatology and European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, apart from presentations | talks at the state and national levels.
Seema Rani MBBS, MD is Associate Professor, Department of Dermatology and STDs, Dr RMLH and PGIMER, New Delhi. She passed her MBBS from Magadh University and MD from PMCH, Patna University. She completed her senior residency from LHMC and associated hospital and joined Dr RMLH, PGIMER, New Delhi, as assistant professor in department of dermatology. She has to her credit various publications in international and national journals, presented posters and CME at state and national conferences, and won gold medal of excellence in paper presentation at state conference.
