Vinay Kumar Pandey MSc,PhD is professionally an engineering geologist working in Gammon Group,Mumbai. He obtained his MSc and PhD degrees in geology from University of Lucknow and MSc in disaster mitigation from Sikkim Manipal University. He has over 12 years’ experience in engineering geology, environmental geology, exploration and project development, and construction works for infrastructure projects and mines.He has published 13 research papers in national and international journals and written two books on climate change.
Ajai Mishra is Professor, Department of Geology, University of Lucknow. He obtained his MPhil from Delhi University and PhD from IIT-Delhi. His specialization is in geomorphology, glaciology, remote sensing and environmental geology.He is working on the problem of water resources and urbanization of the Ganga plain and in the field of glaciology for the last 10 years. He has published about 40 research papers in national and international journals and two books on climate change, and twelve PhD theses were awarded under his supervision.
