Sandhya Sundaram MD, DNB, FICP is currently Professor and Head, Department of Pathology, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (SRMC&RI), Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (Deemed to be University), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She has more than 20 years of experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and as senior consultant pathologist. She has also authored a chapter “Pathology for the Surgeon” in the textbook Short Cases in Surgery, 2nd edn (CBSPD, 2012) and has the honor of writing the Foreword for the first South Asia edition of Rosai and Ackerman’s Surgical Pathology, one of the most iconic textbooks in pathology. She has to her credit more than 65 publications in national and international journals with recent publications in Oncogene and British Journal of Cancer. She is supported by dedicated faculty members of pathology and experienced editorial team of SRMC&RI.
