AK Khurana, MS, FAICO, CTO (London), Chief Editor of MSO Series, former Senior Professor and Head, Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, PGIMS, Rohtak, is currently Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, SGT Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Budhera, Gurugram. In addition to this book, he has authored many popular books. Dr Khurana has published more than 200 scientific papers in national and international journals of repute. He has also been Editor of Haryana Journal of Ophthalmology, North Zone Journal of Ophthalmology, and Indian Journal of Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology (IJSPO). He is WHO Fellow from Moorfields Eye Hospital,London,and did Certificate course in Tropical Ophthalmology (CTO) from Institute of Ophthalmology,University of London,UK.He has been honoured with Distinguished Author Award and Excellence Awards by HOS, NZOS, and SPOSI; Fellowship of All India Collegiums of Ophthalmologists (FAICO),and Gold Medal by Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society of India (IIRSI).
Namrata Sharma, MD, Editor, is currently Professor of Ophthalmology in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery Services at Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. She did her fellowship from Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. She has to her credit more than 380 publications in national and international peer reviewed journals and 11 books. She has been conducting numerous instruction courses, hands on skill transfer courses and is invited faculty at various international and national conferences like AAO, ASCRS, ESCRS, EuCornea and APAO. She has 2 patents to her credit and is the brand ambassador of TFOS-DWS II in India. She has numerous international awards to her credit which include Senior Achievement Award by American Academy of Ophthalmology, Achievement Award by Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, Video award by European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Best video by Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, International Ophthalmologist Education Award by American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is the Honorary General Secretary of All India Ophthalmological Society and Regional Secretary of Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology.
Rajesh Sinha, MD, Editor, is currently Professor of Ophthalmology in Cornea, Lens and Refractive Surgery Services at Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences,AIIMS.He did fellowship at University of Washington.Dr Sinha has 324 publications,3 textbooks and 4 educational manuals to his name. He is currently the Editor of Kerasight, Past Editor-in-Chief of Delhi Journal of Ophthalmology and DOS Times. He has presented many scientific papers and instruction courses,both at national and international levels.He has received various awards notable among which are Achievement Award of American Academy of Ophthalmology, Achievement Award of Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, SAO Excellence Award at SAARC Academy of Ophthalmology, International Ophthalmic Heroes of India Award and IIRSI Gold Medal,ACOIN Gold Medal.He is treasurer of All India Ophthalmological Society,treasurer of SAARC Academy of Ophthalmology, General Secretary of the Indian Society of Cornea and Kerato-refractive Surgeons and treasurer of Eye Bank Association of India.
Aruj K Khurana, DNB, FICO, Editor, a Gold Medalist is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, World College of Medical Sciences and Research, Jhajjar. He has been trained at Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Formerly, he has worked as Vitreo-Retina consultant at Nirmal Eye Institute, Rishikesh, at Department of Ophthalmology, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Jolly Grant, Dehradun, Department of Ophthalmology, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, and Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, PGIMS, Rohtak. He has co-authored nine books of ophthalmology and has more than 30 publications to his credit.
Bhawna P Khurana, MS, DNB, FICO, Editor, is trained in Strabismology and Pediatric Ophthalmology at Guru Nanak Eye Centre,MAMC, New Delhi,followed by training in orbit,oculoplasty and oncology from Narayana Nethralaya,Bengaluru,Karnataka. Formerly, she was consultant at Nirmal Eye Institute, Rishikesh. She has also worked at Department of Ophthalmology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, PGIMS, Rohtak, and as Assistant Professor at SGRRIMHS and associated Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dehradun. She has co-authored nine books of ophthalmology and has more than 45 publications and several presentations to her credit.
