OP Murty MBBS, MD Prof Murty has to his credit more than 150 scientific papers published in national and international journals. He has written one manual for medical officers on trafficking and sexual exploitation on behalf of UNICEF and three other books on this subject. His two other manuals Operational Guidelines for Postmortem Examination and Auditing, 2/e and Operational Guidelines in Medical Toxicology: Fatal Poisoning Cases in Forensic Practice, published by CBSPD, are being regarded as of high reference value in the profession. He is a coauthor of a popular textbook of forensic medicine with Prof KSN Reddy for last three (32nd , 33rd and 34th) editions. He has been Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (ISSN 0971-1929) and International Journal of Medical Toxicology and Legal Medicine (ISSN 0972-0448). He is on the editorial boards of many national and international Journals. is currently Professor, Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIIMS), New Delhi. He joined this Institute as a regular faculty and has been working there since then. He has the experience of having been Professor of Forensic Pathology at UiTM, Malaysia, and King Faisal University, Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He worked as Associate Professor and Forensic Pathology Unit Head at University of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has more than 25 years of experience of clinical work and teaching of this subject
