M Vijayasanthi BSc(N) MSc(CHN) PhD RN RM is presently working as Professor cum Principal at Combined (PG) Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) and Research College of Nursing, Haridwar Road Kuanwala, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She has done BSc(N) & MSc(CHN) from Sree Balaji College of Nursing under Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and Bharath University, Chennai. She has Worked as Assistant Lecturer in Sree Balaji College of Nursing under the guidance of Prof. Sarojini Singh, Former Principal & Prof. Indirani Dasharadhan, Principal, Sree Balaji College of Nursing, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She has also Worked as IMCU staff nurse in Fortis Malar Hospital, Chennai & POW & ICU staff nurse in Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Sankara Hospital, Chennai. She has organized State level conference on "Emergency Obstetrical and Neonatal Care" and National level conference on "Innovations in Nursing" held in CIMS College of Nursing, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She has also organized and conducted many first aid training program, health camps, blood donation camps, health awareness programs & provided facility in different kind of cultural programs and sports activities held from the year 2012-16 at Dehradun in tie-up with the Chief Educational Officer, State Government Educational Department. Besides, she also actively organizes cultural and sports program every year and also she used to do social welfare activities like donating the funds and supplying the daily needed items, study and play materials for the orphanage home, old age home and to the street children. She is a life time member of Trained Nursing Association of India (TNAI), New Delhi.
