Jit Singh MVSc, PhD, FISVS, FNAVS is former Professor and Head, Department of Surgery and Radiology, and Director–Teaching,Veterinary Clinical Complex, College of Veterinary Sciences (CoVSc), Hisar, Haryana. He was founder Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Navania,Vallabhnagar, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He has to his credit more than 250 scientific publications in journals of national and international repute.He has been honoured for his contributions in the field of veterinary surgery and radiology by Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Teachers Association of Haryana Agricultural University, Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery (ISVS) and Indian Veterinary Association. He is Fellow of ISVS and Fellow of National Academy of Veterinary Sciences. He is coeditor of book Veterinary Radiology—Basic Principles and Radiographic Positioning (CBS P&D) and collaborating editor of book Selected Topics on Camelids.
Sukhbir Singh MVSc,PhD is former Professor of Surgery and Radiology,CoVSc,Hisar.He superannuated from Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar (bifurcated from HAU, Hisar) after a long teaching career. He also served as an officer in Remount Veterinary Corps of Indian Army.He has published about 70 papers in journals of repute. He had been on the expert panels of Union and State public service commissions. He has been honoured by Indian Veterinary Association with SJ Angelo Memorial Award. Currently, he is Professor at International Institute of Veterinary Education and Research, Bahu Akbarpur, Rohtak,a self-financed institute recognised by Veterinary Council of India.
RPS Tyagi (Late) MS, PhD, FISVS, FNAVS was Professor and Head, Department of Surgery and Radiology, and Dean, CoVS, Hisar, and a mentor and guide to several outstanding personalities in the field of veterinary surgery and radiology.He was the first to start PhD programme in this field in India.He got installed first X-ray machine in India for large animals in late sixties.He was founder-President,ISVS,and served as Vice President, Veterinary Council of India; Member, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, New Delhi; and ViceChancellor, Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidayalya, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. He was Fellow, ISVS, and National Academy of Veterinary Sciences.He received several awards and honours from several institutions, including Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Award.
