He has served as Editor-in-Chief of Indian Pediatrics (official journal of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics) for 6 years. He has been conferred fellowships by the Royal College of Paediatrics, UK; Indian Academy of Pediatrics; National Neonatology Forum, India; National Academy of Medical Sciences, India; and awarded by the American Academy of Pediatrics for his work on micronutrients.
