About the Author	RS Sengar PhD is currently Professor and Head, Department of Agriculture Biotechnology, College of Agriculture, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut. UP. He has 28 years teaching, research and extension experience to his credit. He has been teaching at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, US Nagar, Uttarakhand, for over ten years.He has supervised 20 PhD and 14 MSc students and published more than 198 research papers, 23 book chapters and 1061 popular articles in Hindi and English in Indian and foreign journals of repute; presented more than 127 abstracts/ papers at different conferences/symposia/workshops organized at national and international forums.He has also published 22 books for scientific community and farmers. He is member of the editorial boards and review committees of some journals and presently editor in chief of International Journal of Biological Sciences,Biotech Today and editor Krishi Darshika magazine. He has been the principal and co-investigator of 10 projects financed by various government departments and has a wide exposure to handling international projects.
