About the Author | Prof. S. C. Rastogi is M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Rajasthan University. He has also undergone specialized training in molecular biology from Tata Institute of Fundamental ResearCh Mumbai. He was the Professor and Head of the Biological Sciences Department at Birla Institute of Technology & Science Pilani. He is a renowned author of several books on molecular biology biochemistry physiology and other allied fields and has published over 70 research pepers in reputed journals. He has guided research in computer applications in molecular biology and enzyme biotechnology. He has over 40 years of experience in research teaching and writing. Namlta Mendlratta is M.A. (Hons.) from BITS Pilani and has done postgraduate diploma in informatics. She is currently heading the bioinforrnatics division of a large company with interests in infrastructure power and telecom. She has experience in managing large projects teaching and technical writing. She has previously worked with companies like Birlasoft R Systems International and Aptech.
