    Details

Clinical Practice of Cardiac Anaesthesia, 4/e provides clinically relevant material to the students, residents and practising anaesthesiologists in the field of cardiac anaesthesia. This edition has been thoroughly updated and many chapters have been made more comprehensive. A new chapter on vascular anaesthesia has been added which is likely to fill the gap that this book had earlier. It has been written in a lucid style and simple easy to understand language that will make the comprehension of this difficult subject easy for the readers. The figures and illustrations add to the ease of understanding. The beauty of the book lies in the fact that it provides comprehensive clinically relevant material without being too extensive. List of references at the end of each chapter will help the interested readers to access the details on the subject. The book will be useful for the students pursuing the postdoctoral DM/DNB/Fellowship courses in cardiac anaesthesia. In addition, all the postgraduate students of anaesthesia, senior residents and junior consultants working in the field of cardiac anaesthesia will find it useful. Some chapters such as those on haemodynamic monitoring, cardiac patient undergoing noncardiac surgery, postoperative management and closed heart procedures will be useful for the general anaesthesiologists as well.
