| About the Author | Nitin Ashok John MD,DIH,FPGDMLE,PGDHA is currently Professor and Head, Department of Physiology, and Dean of Examination, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar, Hyderabad. He has 26 years of teaching and research and 16 years of administrative experience in the prestigious institutes such as Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow; Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Research Institute,Puducherry; Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Nagpur; and NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital,Nagpur. He completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences,Sewagram, Wardha; MD from Indira Gandhi Government Medical College,Nagpur; and Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics from National Law School,Bangalore.He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology,UK; a Fellow of the Association of Physiologists of India, and is the former Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators, UK. He obtained his Master's in Public Administration from Nagpur University and Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration. He is a certified Graduate of the European Life Style Medical Organization.
