    Purushottam Giri MBBS,MD (PSM),MIPHA,FIAPSM,CCEBDM is currently Professor and Head,Department of Community Medicine,IIMSR Medical College,Badnapur, Jalna, Maharashtra. He has 17 years of teaching experience and to his credit over 190 scientific papers published in various national and international indexed medical journals, and has so far received citations of 2265 (h-index: 23,i10-index: 53) till date. He has written a book Epidemiology and Programmatic Management of NCDs in India (2023).At present,he is Secretary General, National IAPSM (2022-25); Vice-President, IPHA Maharashtra State (2021-24); Zonal Representative (West Zone), APCRI (2022-24); Secretary, IAPSM Maharashtra State (2021-24); Central Council Member (West Zone), National IPHA (2023-25); and has been accredited faculty of Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC),Mumbai,Maharashtra, since 2014.
