| About the Author | Brig Sanjeev Vaishampayan MD after serving in the army for 35 years,retired as Commandant Military Hospital, Mhow. He is presently Professor and Head, Department of Dermatology at Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), Udaipur. Earlier he has served as Professor at Index Medical College,Indore; Army College of Medical Sciences,New Delhi; AFMC,Pune and Command Hospital, Lucknow.He has written 4 books and chapters in 16 books.He also has published 52 papers in various indexed journals. He was Vice President of IADVL in 2021. He has received Best Teacher Award 2015, Oration 2017, DermaSeva Award 2019 and Humanitarian Dermatologist Award from International League of Dermatology Association in 2020. His clinical research/interest is in biologics, immunomodulators, acute skin failure, drug reactions,etc. He served in the army at Pune, Secunderabad,Delhi, Lucknow,Kolkata,Chandigarh,Ajmer,Meerut, Tezpur Military Hospitals,etc.He was awarded Chief of Army Staff Commendation twice for his exemplary service.
