| About the Author | Ganga S Pilli MBBS,MD,PhD is currently Professor, Department of Pathology, KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research's JGM Medical College, Hubballi, Karnataka. Earlier she has served at JN Medical College, Belagavi. She has teaching experience of 38 years to undergraduate students and 29 years to postgraduate students. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students and is a PhD guide and examiner. She has been instrumental in starting CPCs to undergraduate students, CME in transfusion medicine and continuing CME and PG courses in pathology.She has published papers in national and international journals. She has completed training in oncopathology at Cancer Centre, Indiana, USA; fellowship in cytology from Indian Academy of Cytology; and attended workshop on infectious diseases in neuropathology at NIMHANS and short course in basics in molecular biology techniques at NIRRH, Mumbai. She has been actively involved in research, academics and extracurricular activities. She is highly motivated and enthusiastic and is loved by her students due to her inspiring and positive attitude. |
