| About the Author | A K Khurana MS, FAICO, CTO (London), Chief Editor of MSO Series, is currently, Director, Institute of Ophthalmology and Health Sciences, KEC, Rohtak. and former Senior Professor and Head, Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, PGIMS, University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. He has been teaching ophthalmology for the last three decades. In addition to this book, he has written many popular books.His other books, Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Practical Ophthalmology, Anatomy and Physiology of Eye, Theory and Practice of Squint and Orthoptics,Ophthalmic Nursing,have been well received by the medical students. Dr Khurana has published more than 260 scientific papers in national and international journals of repute. He has also contributed several chapters for four postgraduate reference books published in India and abroad.He has also been editor of the Haryana Journal of Ophthalmology and North Zone Journal of Ophthalmology. He was awarded WHO Fellowship for higher studies at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He was also selected for a course and awarded Certificate in Tropical Ophthalmology at International Centre for Eye Health, Institute of Ophthalmology, University of London, UK.He has been honored with Distinguished Author Award by the Federation of Educational Publishers of India, Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology by HOS, an Excellence Award by Strabismological Society of India,and fellowship of All India Collegiums of Ophthalmologists (FAICO). Tanuj Dada MD, Honorary Editor, a Gold Medalist, is currently Professor, Glaucoma Services, Dr RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences,AIIMS, New Delhi. He is an international faculty on Glaucoma. He has authored four textbooks on glaucoma and compiled an ‘International Video Atlas on Glaucoma Surgery' and ‘National Guidelines for Glaucoma Management (AIOS)’. He has over 180 publications and contributed 75 chapters for various books. He is secretary general of International Society of Glaucoma Surgery and Associate Advisory Board of World Glaucoma Association . Sushmita Kaushik MS, Honorary Editor, currently Professor, Glaucoma Services, Advanced Eye Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh, is a renowned glaucoma faculty both at national and international fora. She has 52 publications to her credit and contributed 17 chapters for various books. She has authored ‘Glaucoma Section of an OCT Atlas’. She is a reviewer for many international journals including AJO, BJO,Eye,IJO and Archives of Ophthalmology. Parul Ichhpujani MS, Associate Editor, is currently Professor, Glaucoma Services, Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh.
