About the Author | Dinesh Purl is presently working as Director Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Delhi, India. Presently, he is Head Medical Biochemistry, University of Delhi and a Preclinical Coordinator for effective implementation of the newer CBME curriculum in various medical colleges. He has teaching experience of about three and half decades and has passionata liking for teaching. Correlating basic medical sciences with clinical realities and trying various innovative methods of teaching are of special interest. He has contributed chapters in several books and authored three books including Textbook of Medical Biochemistry, and published several papers, especially related to medical education. He has had special interest in diabetes and won several awards. |
