| About the Author | Santosh Kumar Mondal MBBS,MD is currently Professor and Head, Department of Pathology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),Kalyani,West Bengal.He has been Professor and Head, Department of Pathology, Diamond Harbour Medical College; Professor at Bankura Sammilani Medical College; and Associate Professor at Medical College, College Street, Kolkata, West Bengal. He obtained his MBBS from North Bengal Medical College in 1994 and MD (Pathology) from Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (SSKM Hospital), West Bengal, in 2000. He received his post-MD training in oncopathology at Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai. He has undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience of 20 years. He has acted as both external and internal examiner of various examinations such as MD (Pathology), DCP, MBBS, DMLT.He is NABL assessor and part of Quality Council of India.He has many different extramural projects as principal investigator or co-principal investigator.He has to his credit 82 articles published in different indexed national and international journals with 1475 citations. Besides, he is also reviewer of many national and international journals. He has been invited as speaker at different national and international conferences,CMEs and workshops.He is author of three medical books. |
