| About the Author | NK Jain MPharm,PhD,LLM,FIC is an internationally renowned academician and researcher and a senior professor in India who superannuated in 2014 after rendering more than 40 years of dedicated and distinguished service as a teacher and 25 years as full professor. Starting his academic career in 1973 he worked as Lecturer in Pharmacy,Holkar College,Indore; Reader in Pharmaceutical Technology, MS University, Baroda; Professor and Principal, College of Pharmacy, Nasik; Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr HS Gour University, Sagar; Principal, College of Pharmacy, New Delhi; Visiting Professor, Dubai Pharmacy College, Dubai (UAE); and Head, Department of Pharmacy, Delhi University. Subsequent to his superannuation,he rendered his services as Director,ISF College of Pharmacy,Moga,Punjab,and as Emeritus Fellow (UGC) at Rajiv Gandhi Technological University,Bhopal. Dr Jain is the author of 24 celebrated books in pharmaceutical sciences and has contributed over 70 chapters in national and international books.He has to his credit over 500 publications in reputed pharmaceutical journals and has supervised 55 PhD and 142 MPharm candidates.He has been a reviewer for several international and national research journals. Shelly Khurana MPharm, PhD earned her BPharm and MPharm from Dr Harisingh Gour Central University (formerly University of Saugor), Sagar, and PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from Guru Nanak Dev University,Amritsar,India.She has more than 25 years of teaching experience in the field of pharmacy and is presently Lecturer in Government Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Govt Polytechnic College), Amritsar. She has contributed a number of book chapters as well as many research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals. She has been on the panel of reviewers of many reputed national as well as international journals. Puneet Khurana MBBS,MD (Forensic Medicine), LLB (Academics),MIMA,FAM is Professor,Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences, Jalandhar. He graduated from Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati, and completed postgraduation from Govt Medical College, Amritsar. He began his career as Assistant Professor at Christian Medical College,Ludhiana.He enjoys a wide-ranging experience of more than 16 years.He has presented and published many scientific papers in national and international forums and in reputed journals.
